Barnyard Friends and Nature Explorers is a hands-on educational field trip opportunity for home school groups or local schools. We will go over farm life and everything that goes into caring for crops and animals. We are also happy to incorporate any additional lesson plans that your group may be working on. We will explore the benefits of nature and animal facilitated learning on educational development. Our field trips offer many experiences on the farm, including farm chores, archery, and horsemanship. We are a disability-friendly facility and will work with you to make your trip enjoyable and rewarding for your whole group. For groups who will be horseback riding, there is a fee of $15 per child. For groups who will not be horseback riding, there is a fee of $12 per child. There is no additional fee for chaperones, although chaperones will be asked to be active participants in the experience. Your group is welcome to enjoy their lunch in the shade of our open-air barn.
